Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Profile data you provide: name, date of birth, religion, community, education, career, family details, photos and partner preferences.
• Verification data: government ID images submitted voluntarily for the verified badge.
• Usage data: device information, IP address, pages visited and interactions, used for security and product improvement.
• Payment data: processed by Razorpay; we store only transaction references, never card numbers.

2. How we use it

• To operate matchmaking — showing your profile to compatible members per your privacy settings.
• To verify identity, prevent fraud and keep the community safe.
• To send service notifications (interests, messages) by email/SMS; marketing only with your consent.
• To comply with legal obligations, including Indian IT law.

3. Your controls

• Photo visibility: everyone, members only, or accepted connections only.
• Income privacy and horoscope visibility toggles.
• Incognito browsing (premium) leaves no view trace.
• Block any member to hide your profile from them entirely.
• Deactivate your account at any time; data is retained only as required by law, then deleted.

4. Sharing

We never sell your personal data. Contact details are shown only to premium members you have connected with. We share data with service providers (hosting, email, SMS, payment) under strict contracts, and with authorities when legally required.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, transport is encrypted with TLS, tokens are rotated, and access to verification documents is restricted to trained moderators.
